My love affair with piano
It is after a hiatus of nine years that I have started piano lessons and that too over my DVD player. I started learning piano at a community centre when I was 22 but job and other engagements kept me busy and I totally forgot about my love of piano. It was only after I visited yokewong.net and delved deeper into their learning offers that I decided to rekindle my flame, my love for piano.
I have purchased the DVD from yokewong.net and currently going through the introductory piano lessons. Yoke’s style of teaching is good as she has divided the lessons into different categories. I now consider myself novice as I have almost forgotten everything that I learnt at the community center. I have seen an improvement in my piano skills as I follow Yoke’s instructions and tips that she gives on the DVD.
My wife is also planning to watch the DVD with me. She is a total novice and has never even touched piano, although now it is right in our living room. She told me that she was intrigued by the teaching style of Yoke and wants to give it a try. I think that piano lessons will help her in understanding this musical instrument and on how to play it in the right manner. Yoke is truly a professional and I am now a disciple of her style of playing.
